And I agree with her. Even the squirrels have been driven to unusual maneuvers lately. It’s time for winter to leave us…so BE GONE Winter!…… pretty please with sugar on top…. (Closes eyes) Did it work? (Opens eyes.) Oh drat!
Oh well, I’ll just keep entertaining myself by watching cars slide sideways down the hill.
At least there’s one bit of fun coming up this weekend. Our weekly knitting group is celebrating our 3rd anniversary with a big party. It’s hard to believe we’ve been meeting every week for this long already. We’ve managed to meet even when our Borders cafe was closed for renovations, then when our Caribou briefly instituted a Thursday night live music event that required more quiet than we could manage, and even when life gets in the way for some of us. Due to a variety of things (including the winter blahs) I’ve missed the past couple of Thursdays (or maybe 3, wow), and am really looking forward to our special get-together tomorrow afternoon. Now, off to find a small project to take with me for knitting-while-talking….
