I can see clearly now…
Well, Lasik was a piece of cake! I was watching tv and reading the same evening, just a few hours after surgery, and haven’t had a bit of discomfort since. The only mildly unpleasant part of the procedure was due to pressure from the metal thingy they put in your eye to hold it open. It was so weird to be able to see the doctor peel back the corneal flap…I thought that would really unnerve me, but it didn’t. Perhaps that was thanks to the Valium they gave me when I first got there though…that’s good stuff. I highly recommend it (um, the Lasik, not the Valium).
So I had very little disruption to my work and I’m back at it. The Circle of Life and the Luffle Scarf patterns are off being edited, and I’m almost ready to send out this month’s newsletters (I’ve separated my mailing list into consumers and retailers so I can do separate newsletters for each group that are more focused on each group’s interests. )
