I love a man in brown shorts…
He’s not actually wearing shorts today, considering that it’s January in Michigan, but he still brings the goodies. Today I received some O-Wool from Vermont Organic Fiber for my new design. It’s gorgeous and I’m going to drop my personal projects and start on it tonight. Also received yarn for another new design, but I’ll be keeping that one under wraps for now. It might be ready by March though.
I’ve finally made the decision — I will be exhibiting at TNNA in June. And just to prove it to myself, I’ve made my hotel reservations already — so there, self! So now, instead of “thinking” about it, I can get busy making definite plans. I’ll need new designs for the show. And models must be knitted. And advertising must be planned and booked. And I have to get in shape so I can withstand the 8 hours per day in my booth. (Yikes, where’s my treadmill hiding?)
I’ve felt so “on the outside” this week as it seems like the entire knitting world is in Long Beach for the winter show. At least in June I’ll be right in the middle of all the action.
Speaking of advertising, watch for my new ad on Ravelry too. I’ve placed it on 6 group pages for January and February, and will see how it does.
I think I forgot to mention that the new issue of Knitting Matters News is posted here.

Hi – I am in the midst of the Rose Baby cardigan – oh so cute for bothe boy/girl babies -Please could you clarify the SSP decrease? It says to slip slip then return to rt needle. Thanks – nothing on the erratta page -

Hi Sheila — thanks SO much for pointing out the error in this pattern. I’ve posted the correction to the errata page on my site, but will repost it here too. The definition for SSP should read: “With yarn in front, slip a st knitwise, slip another st knitwise, slip both sts back to the LEFT needle, then purl into the backs of these 2 sts together.”
I’m glad you’re enjoying the pattern!
