Head Start sweater done — whew!

I finished the sweater I’m donating to Head Start at tomorrow night’s guild meeting.  It’s just a basic raglan, but it was stressful because of the nasty boucle yarn.  Don’t get me wrong, it’s verrry soft and some child will probably love it, but it was not fun to work with.  Unfortunately we’re required to use acrylics for these sweaters, and I had this stuff in my stash from my early yarn-buying days (before I knew what the heck I was getting into!).  I’m glad it got put to good use finally.  Just wish I’d gotten started earlier in the summer so I could have donated more than one sweater this year.
