Deb’s purse

My sister called last night to tell me she received her purse and that she loves it — yay!  She doesn’t seem to think it’s too small, so that’s a relief.  Her 17-year-old daughter wants one now, too.  Amber’s a big Elvis fan and wants an Elvis button on hers.  (Shhh, don’t tell her, but I’ve already found 2 sources for cool Elvis buttons, so she’s likely to get just what she wants.) Amber is in nursing school and I got her an Elvis scrubs top for Christmas — she loved that too.  It’s amazing how Elvis still gets new fans 30 years after his death, isn’t it?

    Hi Kim,

Very nice blog, and very nice knitting! I absolutely love the felted purses, and the christening gown is inspiring. I hope to get a blog up soon–but for now I can live vicariously through others. I am also a transplanted Buckeye, but I made the move in 1981–and I went to U of M (I’m a traitor!). I love Ann Arbor AND Columbus.

    Kathryn,
Thanks for the compliments on my blog. Nice to hear from another Buckeye in Michigan too! Ann Arbor IS a really nice town, isn’t it? (Despite all the nasty rhymes and jokes we had about it at OSU…). I hope you get a blog up soon — it’s a ton of fun to do.
