Christening gown is half done!

    The pattern is from a Patons booklet called “Heirloom Treasures”.

    please help, i have been stuck on the same row forever, i finshed the the first set of 26 rows on the panel pattern, completed the next row ie. k2tog.k4.work 1st row of panel pattern, and i am at the top of page 27, which says continue in stocking st, working appropriate rows of panel pattern for 27 more rows, however when i get to row 3 and i get to the last few stitches and finish at the end of the pattern i still have 3 stitches left on the other needles.
